A heart of a man can neither be won forcibly, bought with gold nor bound with chains. The world people as well as the Korean people vied to see him regarding him as a peerless outstanding man and great statesman and respecting him ardently.
Kuno Jyuji, former Minister of Postal Service of the Tanaka cabinet and a parliamentarian from the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, expressed his impression after meeting with great President Kim Il Sung during the visit to the DPRK in 1972.
“I have met many socialist as well as capitalist leaders. But I have never seen anyone who moves and excites my heart. Since a leader of a state would express in a talk his mind based on the national prestige of his own state, the talk is confined to a formality and his manner is usually fastidious and authoritative.
…Across ages there had never been so far in the world such a man so simple, benevolent, broadminded and tender-hearted as President Kim Il Sung .”
Kanemaru Shin expressed his luck of meeting great President Kim Il Sung and acquainting himself with a genuine popular statesman whom he and mankind so much longed for and who was possessed of such a noble humaneness.
“My highest respect only goes to His Excellency Kim Il Sung !”
